Welcome to the Clean Green Cooperative Homepage – Join Us!
Clean Green Certified is forming Clean Green Certified Cooperative – an agricultural cooperative which will be available for all Clean Green Certified farmers, processors, and outlets.
As with agricultural cooperatives in other commodities, only the farmers (producers) may vote in the management decisions of the cooperative. This will ensure that the farmers will have administrative control over the operation of the cooperative.
The cooperative will be HAPPILY accepting processors, distributors, marketers, and outlets as non-voting members however! We will need and want your input.
While marketing together is the focus of an agricultural cooperative, the Clean Green Cooperative will work hard to provide many other services to our farmers and our members. We will work hard to provide discounts at regional hardware stores, tire stores, and other providers of goods and services needed by our members. Together we can make larger purchases of fertilizers, equipment and the inputs required to continue producing the finest cannabis in the nation.
This project is in its infancy, so we appreciate your patience while we are getting things set up. The goal is to open the cooperative in every state in which there are Clean Green Certified farmers. Of course at this time there will not be any cross state line shipments of product, however by combining our members from each of the states we will negotiate better prices and services for the many items needed by our members.
Some areas we will work for discounts include:
- hardware supplies
- water tanks
- insurance: medical, life, property, liability
- pest control inputs
to name a few.
In addition, we will work for discounts from our Clean Green licensed products and services (listed here on this expanded site under “Products and Services”)
If you are interested in joining the Clean Green Certified Cooperative, please fill out the information below. It is being gathered at our main office and is very helpful for our planning as we launch this important component of success for our farmers. There will be a fee to join the co-op which will help fund the administration of the start up. After initial start up, further fees will be determined by member voting. It is expected the initial fee to join will be approximately $250.00. We are hoping to be able to begin signing up co-op members early January 2018. No fees will be collected until a 20 member minimum has expressed an interest in joining the cooperative. Membership in the cooperative is limited to currently certified or licensed members of the Clean Green community only.
